Day in Madrid (2019)
*My most recent trip recap.*Â
Day 1:Â
I arrived at AĂŠropuerto Adolfo-SuĂĄrez de Madrid-Barajas (MAD) and met up with my group since this was the first day of a semester studying abroad through ISA. They had trips planned throughout the semester for us starting with a day in Madrid, the capitol of Spain. We arrived and headed off to dinner. We ate at Amici di Napoli. Afterwards we walked around exploring and ran into a parade for el DĂa de Reyes Magos! It was super cool to get to experience! Read about el DĂa de Reyes Magos here. Afterwards it was late, we were dealing with the time change and we decided to call it a night.Â
Day 2:Â
We were up bright and early and started on a walking tour of the city. It was super cool to get to learn the history and see difference sites along the way. Afterwards we went to the Museo Nacional del Prado and had a tour of the art there. After lunch we had some free time and explored el Parc du Retiro and the Palais de Cristal.Â
