One Day in Porto (2019)
*My most recent trip recap.*
Day 1:
Porto was our third stop on the Portugal trip having started in Lisbon, going to Sintra, and then to Porto. By this point of the trip we took a more liesurly approach. We really just wandered around without a map and explored. The architecture is beautiful and impressive with the mosaics incorporated! The two stops we made sure to go to were the Librairie Lello and the São Bento Train Station. Librairie Lello is a gorgeous book store where the staircase inspired the moving staircases in Harry Potter! There was a line to get in as well as an entrance fee but if you are a book lover as well as Harry Potter fan, I definitely think it's worth it. The São Bento Train Station is, in my opinion, the most gorgeous train stations in the world. The amount of artistry is very impressive and worth stopping by even without a train to catch!
