Day Trip to Guernica (2019)

Day 1: 

This is a must do day trip in my opinion. If you are unfamiliar with the history of Gernika like I was before I arrived, you can read up on it here. We first went to the Museo de la Paz. This museum left a big impression on me and is definitely a must do. Afterwards we visited El Parlamento and el parque de los pueblos. 

Food 

• Lot's of cute pasty shops and restaurants in the area to eat at. Personally, I packed a picnic for this day. 

Lodging

• I stayed in Bilbao
